Nicolas born and raised in Taos NM.Last year was a very successful year with many wins at the Southern Series GS and SL and a strong performance at the Pratter Cup.He qualified to go to the Junior Olympics still being a J5.What an accomplishement.Beside the racing aspect,he love to free ski in Taos and enjoy the powder and the steep.
At the end of the season Nicolas (10 years old) was so fortunate to go to Alaska and become the very youngest to ski the Chugach. Thanks to Graeme Linnett for that wonderful adventure and this unique opportunity
Off season, mountain biking, running, hiking, technical climbing are his regular activities.
Being an official J4 this year he is expecting another strong winter.
Nicolas had a fantastic year.He had fun free skiing in Taos and had a blast while ski racing. He discover what speed meant when pushing himself to some SG races.
The highlight of the season is at the Pratter Cup in Crested Butte,Co.He placed 3rd in GS,5th in SL and 10th in SG.At the Junior Olympic
in Winter Park,CO he had an astonishing 2nd place in GS ....fantastic for a 1st year J4...

Amanda Veth born and raised in Taos. Has been skiing since she could walk. Last year was the pinical of her young ski career. At the J4 Jr. Olympics in Winter Park, she placed second overall, and won respectivly two GS's, third place in Super G, and third place in Slalom. Those impresive results made her qualify for the Whistler Cup in Canada. Where she ended up finishing twelfth in the GS. She loves free skiing, and the surrounding of the mountain. This year she is willing to step it up another notch, and searching for her very first USSA point results.
